Would there be much interest in a trip down to Kent for something different one Sunday? I discussed it with a couple of people on yesterday's ride and it seemed like there would be some appetite to do it from time to time.
I was thinking we could drive down to Pratt's Bottom (seriously, that's the name of the place) for an 0830 departure. The journey is approximately 1hr by car and provides a good start/return point as it is at the edge of the built-up area but also just off the M25, dual-carriageway all the way.
I know the roads well enough to piece together a nice route for us. To keep it reasonably accessible I would propose something along the lines of 100km at 27kph (60 miles at 16.5mph). There will be plenty of climbing - consider yourselves warned...

That's our old neck of the woods - Russ grew up in Chelsfield which is just up the road! It's quite hilly around there...! Maybe Russ' parents can lay on a big fry-up after?!!
